Here’s an example of one I thought was especially creative…. Enjoy!
And there’s nothing wrong with it.
It all started with, “Sometimes Dave just plays too hard…..” and then went onto, “No I mean! Dave just threw me up against the wall too hard, and got too rough,” and then concluded with, “Wait, I can handle Dave being rough but…”
He then proceeded to give up.
So yeah.
I know, the video’s message itself might be a bit trite (or completely true, based on your views) but the editing and use of typography are absolutely BRILLIANT. I sighed when Amy sent me the link because you know the drill that happens when people send you a link to YouTube; it’s usually some annoying baby saying a curse word, and you’re supposed to think it’s hilarious.

Oh. And I also came to find out that this guy did this for a class project in college, and that AMY was in his class!
If you missed last night’s Grammy Awards, there was a performance by Kanye West that was absolutely sublime. He started off with a duet with Daft Punk on his hit Stronger, and then performed an original song he had written after his mother’s death.
It brought tears to my eyes. The simplicity, the genuineness, the pain, and the unadulterated love for someone you can only call, “Mama.”

As a side note, his remarkable album Graduation was passed over for Album of the Year by some random dedication album to Joni Mitchell. A travesty.
She’s brilliant. Sarah Silverman goes on to prove that she is totally the coolest girlfriend in history.
And that Matt Damon is hilarious as well.
