Chad: “Yo. Sup, G?”
Agent (Sandeep): “Thank you for contacting Dell Customer Service Chat. My name is Sandeep. How may I help you?”
Chad: “I need to get an invoice emailed to me. I looked on the site for it and I was getting a 500 server error.”
Chad: “Dell Purchase ID: xxxxx”
Chad: “Customer Number: xxxxx”
Chad: “Order Number: xxxx”
Chad: “chad@xxxxxxxx.com ”
Agent (Sandeep): “Chad, I understand that you need the invoice copy for the order purchased under Dell Purchase ID: xxxxx. Am I correct?”
Chad: “Fo Sho’”
Agent (Sandeep): “I will certainly help you with your request.”
Chad: “You’re my homeboy Sandeep!”
Agent (Sandeep): “May I have the contact name on the account?”
Chad: “Chad XXXXX”
Agent (Sandeep): “Thank you. Kindly allow 2-3 minutes to pull up your account information.”

Chad: “That’s tight. You should swing by my hood sometime. We could check out the ladies.”
Agent (Sandeep): “I did not understand your previous message.”

What’s Vinoj on? Some sort of post guilt-trip? Does he feel the need to post three times in one day to make up for being a bad blogger who hasn’t updated his site in months? And why is he talking about himself in the third person?

Actually, I think I just wanted to put up a picture of the company I work for, and my co-workers. They’re definitely a nice and fun bunch. Oh yeah- the company is Element Fusion, by the way. You might even check out our Flickr account to see the designs that we’ve come up with. Pretty nice stuff.
Anyway, here’s the pic of us: 
And weirdly, it’s not mine. But this guy is hilarious. Hilarity defined. And uproarious. And whatever else.
Make sure to check out his post on kids’ drawings and how he RULES because he’s better than them. Satirical to the max.
Wow. And you thought my name was weird. (Admit it!) Apparently there are at least TWO sets of parents who felt that Vinoj would be a good first name to give their newborn son. I’ve always maintained when people ask me what my name means that my parents were in a hazed drunken stupor.
But considering that neither of my parents drink, I guess that just adds comedy and isn’t so much part of the truth.
No, the truth is that my cousins are Vinod and Manoj, and I sorta happened to be born in a month between the two bookends. (October 25, and they January and August, respectively.) So I suppose my parents thought it would be fitting that I have a name that’s an amalgam of the two. I guess I’m a “joiner, not a divider” or some sort of intermediary.
Alas, I digress. SO my co-worker Justin sends me the link to another Vinoj, and yes I knew there were other Vinojs out there, but another Zacharia?? My eyes bugged out. Of course he’s got that excessive ‘H’ at the end, so I guess my family is just to the point. So I perused through the site, left him a comment, and he’s messaged me back too on here, on the previous post I believe. He’s also got his life much more in order than I. He’s married, got a kid on the way, and so on. Me? I’m a single guy trying to make it through the THUG LIFE of being a web developer. Cuz you know… all thugs are actually web developers when they’re not straight up gunnin’ or selling crack, or whatever else they do.
With that I’m out.
