AIM Quote of the day
“oh speaking of gay, i got a boys haircut on accident
and now my boyfriend and i totally look like brokeback mountain”
-Jenni
So ironic- I’m in the US and I haven’t posted on my site in forever and a day. Partially I’ve been busy (you know…sleeping….sleeping…sleeping..) and then I really have been doing things. For example, last week I went to Aparna’s house and met with her family and such. Cool people, although meeting her dad was a frightening ordeal for me. It’s still fine, as far as I still know.
Today however, I decided to go back to the haircut that I had when I first left India. It had lost its…zing… so I decided it’s time for a comeback. So here it is. Have a looksie and leave a comment if you’d like.
I’ll go ahead and say it now though- I RULE
Now you may think that the next part is a chunk of a forward somewhere, but I actually thought of it today.
Here goes- I was sitting on the throne today, and remembered that I got stuck in the bathroom when I was five and my uncle (after what seemed like hours) opened the door somehow. Then I realized that cops on TV are able to break down doors all the time. Just kick.
Other than…. wait… horror movies they can’t, can they.
So here’s what I realized- cops in any movie can kick down any door they choose, regardless of the lock(s) or whether the door is steel or wood. The kick the door in rule applies everywhere other than a horror movie where neither the girl with the bouncies nor the serial killer (even if he/she is a cop) can kick down doors.
Any ideas why???
Let’s be honest- you wanted it, so here it is. The Chronicles of Narnia Rap. I’ve also uploaded the lyrics here. It’s from Saturday Night Live, and it’s these two guys who decide to get some food before going to see The Chronic(wha?)les of Narnia. ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS, and to be honest, I think it needs to be in the Top 40 list and not just in heavy airplay on the internet. Beautiful shit. If you haven’t already seen it, watch it once, then check the lyrics, then watch it again with the lyrics.
I was reading about it and I recognized why it’s so addictive- instead of just parodying other current rap acts, these two have gone old school emulating the sounds of Beastie Boys and some of the snazzy lyrics of Run DMC. Awesome shtuff. More news later, I suppose. But this is the creme de la creme information for today.
SO, after a hiatus, we’re back. Had my site down for a while bc I didn’t pay the bill.. oops.
Anyway, back in the US, and now I’m looking forward to meeting up with the people I haven’t seen in a while. Next week, my family and I are going to Chicago, and we’ll meet up with some people there, including Apsi’s family. Gulp. But everything’s nice because this is probably the first family trip we’ve had in quite some time… a few years I think. Pretty stoked, and looking forward to some fine Giordano’s Pizza in Chi-town.
More lates…
