I want this video to reflect how I feel about most of Facebook. Although I dig the original site, the addition of ‘Applications’ and those damn zombie requests are getting on my last nerve.

I have mixed feelings on the apps in Facebook. While some are rather pointless and annoying to receive requests to, others are somewhat amusing, fun to interact with other users, and tolerable.
As with any social networking tool on the web, I think it’s solely up to the user to control and moderate their account and what they put on it. (i.e. if you completely can’t stand app requests, simply IGNORE and don’t partake in them.)
An interesting follow-up article on BBC demonstrates security flaws in Facebook apps as well.
