Alright so if you’ve visited the site at any point in the past couple of weeks you thought to yourself, “Huh? No Vinoj.com? Where will I go for my daily dose of Vinoj-brand humor now?!”
Well apparently the domain name had expired, although I never received any notification of it. WHY didn’t I receive notification, you ponder? Because the notification was sent to an email address I no longer use, nor can I log into. Wonderful. So I was locked out of getting the password to renew my domain and also had no way of getting ownership to my REAL account unless I sent a fax with a picture ID of my license or passport or something.
Not wanting to run to Kinko’s (I really despise that place for some reason), I emailed back and forth with the support guys at Tera-Byte.com, who registered my domain and I rent server space from.
Within a few hours, badabing badaboom- I’m back up. Special thanks to Dave Rowland from Tera-Byte support for helping out greatly.
