To be honest, the title is a bit misleading. Physical labor isn’t what led to my pain that I have in my back/neck right now. No, ever since I got back, I think my neck’s been strained in some weird position when I fell asleep and then it keeps getting worse at night. Every morning I wake up moaning like a dying dog because it hurts so bad. I told Apsi and she basically told me to stop complaining like a Nancy. Nice. Where’s the love, I ask ya.
But yesterday I edged and trimmed the lawn. (No that isn’t a euphemism for anything.) It was some manual labor, but it’s kinda weird- I really enjoyed it because I felt like I was helping my parents out in some way. They’ve given so much to both me and Vinni, and if I can help out even a little bit right now, it feels nice. Plus, it takes some precision to get it perfectly even all the way around, and I seem to enjoy things that require precision– web design for instance.
Alright I’m out. Sent a couple more resumes out today. Rather tiring because they always ask the same questions (work experience, dates worked, blah blah blah.) I wish I could just copy/paste my resume or just attach it so that I wouldn’t have to keep filling out forms. But whatever. Peas in the Middle East!
