My final night in India

Wow. It’s here, and I think it’s hit me: this is my final night in India after two years of being here. Sure, I visited the US a number of times in that time span, but actually moving out of here is completely different. It’s a different feeling; a sense of loss, a sense of fear of change, and so on.

And I know I’m not alone in this– everyone goes through it at one point or another. It’s the fear of the uncertainty of the future that lurks around the corner for me. I had some sense of (dare I say) comfort here, knowing that I could make it through by either web design or American culture training. Now? _______________ It’s a blank. I don’t know what I’ll be doing. I have plans, sure. But those are just dreams until I get a job in America. And Lord knows that’ll be hard. Especially for me.

So that’s where we are. Amit, Serah, Eleyah, Maggichachi and family, Vinod, Jo, his mom, Apsi, and I will all be here tonight. Sort of a ‘farewell’ thing. I’m looking forward to some KFC and playing with Sammy and Michelle. Then, I’ll begin packing.

Saying goodbye to Apsi will be the hardest. But I’ll need to prepare for it.

Out.

See ya stateside.

They say Goodbye, WE say Hello!

Cant wait to see you again !!!

niya is a lou-zhur.

I think it’s very sweet, Niya. Now I have to go wake everyone up to get going to the airport. Did I mention that the travel agent messed up my ticket and my name is Zacharia Vinoj? So I have to try to explain to the counter people and hopefully they’ll understand.

Otherwise I have to cancel and rebook the flight. NOT. KIDDING.

Ciao

ah crap. i hope that dosent happen!!
