No, your cell phone isn’t going to crash the airplane.

“We can put a man on the moon — and let him chat with his friends in Houston for the whole trip. Surely, we can solve the problems associated with in-flight cell calls.”

Such ends a great article about the real reasons that cell phones are banned on airplanes. The last page especially makes some very good points that should be considered.

Gasp! That’s so strange, I’ve been thinking that phrase for the longest time yet I can’t place who says it, but I remember exactly how it’s said..

That quote’s from Alice in Wonderland. I love that phrase. I believe it’s the cat, but not entirely sure. Could also be the caterpillar. Dude, that cartoon used to gimme the willies as a kid.

Yes Anju is right that it’s from Alice in Wonderland. And I was pretty sure she was right it was The Cheshire Cat that said it, but after some research *cough* Google *cough*, I found out that it’s Alice herself who said it. Interesting.
And I totally agree- that movie creeps me out. Of course from what I’ve heard, Lewis Carroll was completely high when he wrote it, so that may explain the creepiness.

“…after some research *cough* Google *cough*…”

Haha. Properly chastised by the vinoj. I’ll do better next time. Promise, ‘kay?

Oh I wasn’t trying to chastise or patronize at all. I was actually mocking myself for being so lazy as to just do a quick Google search and not finding the book. Sarcasm is so difficult on the web.

No worries homie.
